When conducting quality inspection of fashion fabrics, not only the organizational structure must be inspected, but also the pattern must be checked to see if it is consistent with the sample. The requirements must be accurate. At the same time, the color of fashionable fabrics should also be accurate with the confirmation sample.
However, from the perspective of actual production, it seems impossible to achieve the exact same color, so it is generally acceptable if the color difference from the confirmation sample is more than four levels (gray sample card is used to evaluate discoloration). When inspecting the color of bulk fabrics, special attention should be paid to the front and back color difference of the same piece of fabric, which is what we usually call the step difference, and the left and right color difference, that is, the middle edge difference, and the color difference between pieces, that is, the cylinder difference. However, the color difference between front and back and left and right of the same piece of fabric is unacceptable.
Under normal circumstances, in the process of inspecting the color of fashion fabrics, if the cylinder difference exceeds level four, it is generally acceptable, but the colors must be separated during production. So, how to check the color specifically? The specific steps are: first cut a piece of fabric with a full width of five inches from the fashion fabric to be inspected. At the same time, mark the left and right sides. Use the strip of cloth to check the middle, middle and tail ends of the piece of fabric several times. Make sure there is no color difference in the fabric; the second is to cut strips of cloth from other fabrics to be inspected, and also check whether there is any color difference in the front, back, left and right. Gather all the cloth strips to check the cylinder difference between pieces. If the cylinder difference barely reaches Level 4 and visual inspection shows that there is color difference, all fabrics need to be color separated. Make cylinder difference cards and provide data to relevant departments to provide basis for layout and cutting of bulk goods.
Next, the color fastness of fashion fabrics needs to be tested. First, the color fastness to washing is tested. Under normal circumstances, the color fastness to color and fading is required to be above level 4, and the color fastness to staining is above level 3-4. The simple test method is to compare the color difference samples after normal washing according to the washing standard requirements. In addition, the rubbing color fastness of fashionable fabrics must be tested. Generally, dry rubbing is required to be above level 4 and wet rubbing is above level 3.
